Following the successful workshops held at CAMMAC in 2023 and 2024, we turn our attention to the art of Liuhebafa, a key element of Master Moy's teaching of internal arts.
Liuhebafa consists of 66 “maneuvers” that are often more elaborate and physically demanding than tai chi movements. For those who are new to Liuhebafa or who learned it “a long time ago,” we will provide the basics so that you can more easily practice with others. There will also be numerous exercises to help you develop the skills necessary to perform the movements correctly.
For the more experienced, the program includes specific flexibility and strengthening exercises, as well as methods for improving alignment and overall coordination, tailored to the development of the “six harmonies” and a better understanding of the “eight methods.”
As many have discovered, the intensity of several days devoted to this art allows for deep inner work, both physical and spiritual.
We also invite you to participate in periods of stretching and seated meditation each morning upon waking (靜坐 jìngzuò - quiet sitting).
Of course, the beauty of the site also invites you to take walks in nature between sessions.

The beautiful CAMMAC Music Centre is located on the shores of Lake MacDonald, in the Laurentians, halfway between Montreal and Ottawa (about 1.5 hours drive). Each year the Centre welcomes amateur musicians from around the world to its programmes. We are delighted that it has opened its doors to us for this event. The Centre provides meals (including vegetarian meals) and lodging, and offers an enchanting site.
